About Us

PEXA (Property Exchange Australia) is Australia’s online property exchange network. It assists members – such as lawyers, conveyancers and financial institutions – to lodge documents with Land Registries and complete financial settlements electronically.

PEXA was formed in 2010 to fulfil the Council of Australian Governments’ (COAG) initiative to deliver a single, national e-Conveyancing solution to the Australian property industry. It was originally known as National e-Conveyancing Development Limited.

PEXA is committed to supporting the property industry as it transitions towards a 100% digital conveyancing process that’s fast, safe and efficient. ©

Our Story

Previously, having a disconnected and ambiguous network, PEXA made the decision to engage CTM Professional Services to deliver a brand new, scalable and secure network in which we could continue to expand with our company growth rate and gradually reduce on-premise footprint as we migrated to the cloud. After serious considerations through an RFP process, we chose CTM for the following reasons:

1. Previous experience: CTM had previously built many complex networks in half the expected time and well under budget. The trust was well established that CTM had the ability to deliver, resolve and manage large network requirements.

2. High capabilities: CTM articulated exact requirements and coordinated project ‘hands on’ all the time.

3. Cultural fit: CTM have a great understanding of how our organization operates and what is required.

4. Flexibility and cost effective: There was always prompt support when required. CTM have our best interest in mind whilst also keeping cost low.

5. Easy access to resources: Very responsive to all our concerns and problems; always nearby or just a phone call away. Furthermore, CTM had no previous intentions; they consult, then find the right solution and vendor to suit the project.

This engagement resulted in PEXA now having a High performance network and security services; and the resilience with no network dropouts. CTM has minimized the amount of time we have spent on support issues by 70%. In turn this has allowed us to focus on delivering projects within budget and reduce overtime dramatically, with increased security, visibility and ensured compliance. Improvement also includes security of our crucial systems to ensure protection from cybercrime and network visibility that allow us to make decisions on what exactly is occurring within our network. CTM has ensured we adhere to good practice for information security, as per International Standardization 27002.
